You have the opportunity to make three different quilts! All three of these quilts are made with 5" squares and you will learn the easy and accurate sewing method for this very versatile unit. The hour glass unit has four triangles in it, but we will make it without cutting any! By sewing first and then cutting, we eliminate working with the bias. I will show you several great borders using these units. A handout will be given and discussed on how to make your pieced border fit your quilt top. Rated: Easy ($85)

This beautiful jacket uses the sweatshirt for the jacket base and the pattern pieces. If you have never made a jacket this is the perfect beginner class and if you are an expert Jerri will find something a little more challenging for you to add to your jacket. Fitting instructions will be covered also. Jacket kits will be available for $50. Working with straight and curved seams, and a little thought, it is possible to create pieced landscapes and other pictorial designs. Seams are used as tools and are exploited for ease of construction in addition to their usefulness as linear elements. This is a class for people who love puzzles and graceful curves. This graphic and masculine design was created in the 1930s and was inspired by Native American weaving patterns. This complex-looking pattern is simple to sew. The patches are all created from rectangles and the seams "marry" for accurate matches. The border can be plain but included in the class is a foundation piecing demonstration and pattern for a more intricate border. The class quilt is 58" by 58" with 10" square blocks. ($90)
