QU Member Challenge for 2015 Annual Quilt Show
Louise Sutara, Show Chair 2015, has officially announced Summertime Sun as our challenge for 2015. A little or a lot of yellow and two other colors for you to oh! and ah! over. If you want to get in on the fun join a Quilters Unlimited chapter near you and start your very own quilt. Members entered over one hundred beautiful True Blue challenge quilts in the 2014 41st Annual Quilt Show and Louise is challenging all our members to do it again.
As a member your new challenge is to make a quilt for our next show, have it measured and show ready in February in order to see your quilt hanging in the Quilters Unlimited Show 2015. Summertime Sun is the challenge and can become a wall hanging, a baby quilt, an art quilt, or a modern quilt. Whatever you create, we'll want to see it.
Dulles Expo will be getting larger to hold us all under one roof next year with more vendors and their wares, classes to learn the latest and greatest and friends to share all the wonder and beauty with. We love our quilts and we can't wait to see how Summertime Sun inspires you.
