For meetings, we open for social time at 7:00 pm with the meeting to begin promptly at 7:30 pm.

Member Presenters Meeting:
2 nd Tuesday, 7:30pm, Armstrong Elementary School

Guest Speaker/Event Meeting:
4 th Tuesday, 7:30pm, Armstrong Elementary School

Daytime Bee:
2 nd and 4 th Friday, 10am thru 2:00 pm, currently meeting at the Herndon Fortnightly Library (768 Center Street, Herndon), while we look for a permanent home.

Saturday Sew-Along:
Most months on the third Saturday in the month, rotating among the public libraries at Reston, Herndon and Great Falls. Work on your own project or sew for our charity “Project 1000”. 10am to 4:45pm. Or maybe this will be the chance for a workshop presented by a guest teacher. Details are in the monthly newsletter.

Retreat:
Thursday to Monday, usually in April at Massanetta Springs

Community Service

The Reston Chapter has embarked upon an ambitious goal of making 1000 quilts for presentation to a variety of local charities. Project 1000 invites your contribution of sewing, fabrics, batting or donations to purchase supplies. Help us achieve our goal to make our community a kinder and more caring place to live.



Newsletter
Our newsletter “And Sew Forth” is produced monthly from September through to June. It is emailed or sent via the USPS to all active members.
