For meetings, we open for social time at 7:00 pm with the meeting to begin promptly at 7:30 pm. Visitors are always welcome.
Member's Meeting:
2nd Tuesday, 7:30pm, Armstrong Elementary School
Guest Speaker/Event Meeting:
4th Tuesday, 7:30pm, Armstrong Elementary School
Daytime Bee:
2nd and 4th Friday, 10am thru 2:00 pm, currently meeting at the Herndon Fortnightly Library (768 Center Street, Herndon), while we look for a permanent home.
Saturday Sew-Along:
Most months on the third Saturday in the month, rotating among the public libraries at Reston, Herndon and Great Falls. Work on your own project or work on a charity quilt 10am to 4:45pm. Or maybe this will be the chance for a workshop presented by a guest teacher. Details are in the monthly newsletter.
Retreats:
Fall – Friday, Saturday, Sunday in Oct, date and location to be determined. Spring - Thursday to Monday, usually in April, location to be determined.

Community Service
Reston Chapter has finally completed its ambitious Project 1000. This year we will be making quilts for medical caregivers assigned to military hospitals in Afghanistan and Iraq, providing them a “hug from home” and a thank you for their efforts in taking care of our wounded service members.
Newsletter
Our newsletter “And Sew Forth” is produced monthly from September through to June. It is emailed or sent via the USPS to all active members.
