For meetings, we open for social time at 7:00 pm with the meeting to begin promptly at 7:30 pm. Visitors are always welcome.
Business/Show and Tell Meeting:
2nd Tuesday, 7:30pm, Armstrong Elementary School
Guest Speaker/Event Meeting:
4th Tuesday, 7:30pm, Armstrong Elementary School
Daytime Bee:
2nd and 4th Fridays, 10am thru 3:00 pm, at the Herndon Fortnightly Library (768 Center Street, Herndon).
Saturday Sew-Along:
Most months on the third Saturday in the month, rotating among the public libraries at Reston, Herndon and Great Falls. Work on your own project or work on a charity quilt 10am to 4:45pm. Or maybe this will be the chance for a workshop presented by a guest teacher. Details are in the monthly newsletter.
Retreats:
Fall (local) – Friday, Saturday, Sunday in October, date and location to be determined. Spring - Friday to Sunday, usually in March, location to be determined. Mid-summer (local) - Friday, Saturday, Sunday in mid-July.

Community Service
We are making quilts for medical caregivers assigned to military hospitals in Afghanistan and Iraq, providing them a “hug from home” and a thank you for their efforts in taking care of our wounded service members. We are also making lap quilts for Alzheimer's patients and the wheelchair-bound as well as quiltlets for NICU patients in local hospitals.
Newsletter
Our newsletter “And Sew Forth” is produced monthly from September through to June. It is emailed or sent via the USPS to all active members.
