  Annandale QU is having a fabric sale October 18 thanks to the generous donation of a long time member.   Fabric will be $7 per pound (approximately 3 yards).  We have a lot of Jinny Beyer fabrics - mostly yardage.  Keepsake Quilting medleys (discontinued), Jinny Beyer quilt kits, fat quarter bundles, tote kits, large pieces of yardage, embroidery floss and more!

  Our fall retreat is a great time to focus on a project or three, spend some time at the beautiful Cacapon State Park, and get to know some your sister members.  The lodge was recently remodeled and is truly beautiful.  The park has great hiking trails and wonderful views.  It is less than two hours from the Fairfax area.

  Our program this month will be a talk by Bunnie Jordan called "Hit Parade of Quilting."  This is a trunk show of some of the most popular styles of quilting over the last 200 years.  Bunnie is a quilt maker, quilt author, quilt collector and quilt teacher.  She is also an appraiser, a member of the American Society of Quilt Appraisers, specializing in quilts and textiles.

  This meeting lasts about two hours with an approximately 30-minute business meeting, show and tell, refreshment break, and a 60-minute program.  

  All are welcome to join us.  We have a lot of fun together celebrating the art of quilt making.  There are a many ways you can get involved.
