Rachel Derstine - Strata Quilt Class

This workshop will happen on Zoom. There will be two 3-hour classes, on Saturday, November 1 and Saturday, November 15. Class starts at 10:30 and will end at 1:30 each day. The cost of this workshop is $40 per person. The workshop will be opened to all QU on October 6 if not filled by Reston guild before that date.

From Rachel's website: "We will do curved piercing of coordinated hand dyed and commercial fabrics for the background. Easy quilting designs will be introduced. Organza circles will be stitched to the surface with single or double needle applique. Yarns will be couched to the surface for movement and definition."

A supply list will be sent to participants before class.
