VQU will host its annual Spring Retreat at the Claggett Center (https://www.claggettcenter.org/) in Adamstown, Md.  The Retreat starts Friday, 10 April, 9:00 a.m. and ends Sunday, 12 April, 2:00 p.m.

We will have all three rooms (Monocacy, Potomac, and Shenandoah) that comprise the conference center's primary meeting space. The retreat theme is "Elegant and Effortless" so come ready to have some fun upping your quilting game to a FASCINATING new level!

Registration:  Registration is open only to Vienna QU members and is first come, first served.  The Registration Link will be active at 9:00 a.m., 13 January. Minimum attendance is 30 individuals, and maximum attendance is 36 individuals. If the minimum attendance level is not reached by 1 March, registration will be opened to all QU chapter members. Attendees must register through Wild Apricot and pay a non-refundable $40 deposit to reserve a spot. The Registration Code will be emailed to all VQU members in mid-January.

Cost:  Retreat cost per person is $338 for a Double room and $378 for a Single room. Room check-in begins Friday, 10 April, 9:00 a.m. and room check-out is no later than Sunday, 12 April, 10:00 a.m.

Rooms:  16 Single and 12 Double rooms to include 3 handicap rooms are available. If you need a roommate, please contact Vicky Watts who will connect you with anyone else who is looking for a roommate.

Meals:  Meals include lunch and dinner on 10 April; breakfast, lunch and dinner on 11 April; and breakfast and lunch on 12 April.

Payment:  There are three payment options.

1. When registering pay your entire retreat cost via credit card using the applicable link (based on your room selection) on the Registration Section.

2. Pay only the non-refundable $40 deposit via the applicable link on the Registration Section and pay the remaining amount due (your room cost minus the $40 deposit) via US bank check made out to "Vienna Quilters Unlimited." All checks must be received no later than 20 March. Checks can be given to either Vicky Watts, Stephanie Bridgewater, or Diane Kirkhart at a VQU event or snail mailed to Vicky Watts.

3. If you have questions about either of the above payment options or need an alternate payment plan, please contact Vicky Watts prior to registering.

Refunds:  Refunds (minus the non-refundable $40 deposit) will only be issued if someone on the waitlist takes your spot or if there is no one on the waitlist and you can line up someone who is a QU member to take your place.

Waitlist:  If the event fills, please use the link to join the Waitlist. Schedules often change and spots may become available, even at the last minute.
